What DNS record types do you support?

dnsjuice is designed to support the record types most customers need for normal website, mail, and service configuration. The exact list available in your account can depend on the service features enabled for your plan and the interface options currently exposed in the control panel.

In general, customers commonly work with A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, and TLSA records. If you are following setup instructions from a registrar, hosting provider, mail provider, or application vendor, always enter the values exactly as provided and double-check the host name, target, priority, and TTL before saving.

  • Use A and AAAA records to point names to IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.
  • Use CNAME records when one hostname should follow another hostname.
  • Use MX records for inbound mail routing.
  • Use TXT records for verification, SPF, and other text-based policies.
  • Use SRV or TLSA only when the service you are configuring specifically requires them.

If you are unsure which record type to use, review the service documentation you are connecting to dnsjuice first. The record type is determined by the system you are integrating, not by guesswork.
